Liverpool 2 Man Scum 1

Finally, we've got 'em.

After 8 league encounters we finally put one over the mancs. I was preparing for the worse when Tevez scored on the 3rd minute after some lax defending...i was like...here we go again...We are jinx playing mancs (or as Ru said it, Masch is the jinx when playing the Mancs). It is not often you see Masch caught ball watching and not tracking Tevez's run. First half we were our usual self so far this season. Poor in possesion, slow to the ball, and the scums where all over us. The jinx continued when Van der Sar saved a Dirky point blank shot on goal...

Thankfully, our luck took a turn for the better when Van der Sar push the ball against wes Brown's shin and the ball rolled into the net. Comical i tell you....

I don't know what Rafa did at half time....but Liverpool came back in the game stronger and better. It was the best performance so far this season. Maybe Rafa should had done watever he had done earlier in other matches. It was only a matter of time when Babel (super sub) smashed in the winner on 77 min. Mascherano made up for his mistake by his wonder persistance down the right flank enabling Kuyt to pull the ball back for Babel to smash it home. Made in Holland, beating a Holland keeper. Mancs tried to get back but with stand in skipper, Carra, on watch, all their efforts were in vain.

p.s. Nando and Stevie HAVE to sit next to each other at the bench...tell me that's not gayness...LOL

MY RAWK did a live viewing gig at Breakers Hartamas and these are some shots of mad Malaysian scousers...

Fantastico....damn right.....

Salesman???

Wheeeee!!!!!!!

Jono rallying the troops (being his usual self)

Ru's birthday is on 25/9...wat better way to celebrate than with kopites?

Mark after one too many (being his usual self too..LOL)

Who says its easy being a kopite....

U need selfless commitment...irregardless of your own self

Epitome of a kopite :D

The 9 Degrees of Separation

Ever heard of the 9 degrees of separation?

This morning picked up a Citibank Customer reporting a baggage damage claim. Took down the details and it seems that he lives in Sg Long. So I will be sending the claim form to him after work. So before heading home took a detour to 3/3 and found the house. The card member looks awfully familiar. Went into the house and saw Carmen and Kar Leng's photo on the wall.....LMAO....this is my aunt's and uncle's close family fren....wat a friggin coincidence....

Uncle Chung called the whole family and greeted me...make me damn paiseh...

Collected all the documents and helped fill in the claim form and took photos of the damaged baggage...after that borak borak a bit and left....

Friggin 9 degrees of separationn....

Kentucky Fried Chick, The Colonel Would be Ashamed

Went to pick up May from Melaka and decided to go KFC at Jaya Jusco for dinner.  I know that prices have gone up and portion of fast food had been getting smaller. This happened to McD whereby i can finish a Fillet 'o Fish in 3 bites. But wat happened to KFC really takes the cake....

Yes...that's a bone of a drumstick...and that's the spoon you use to scoop coleslaw and mash potatoes.....

Back Home...

Back in Segamat again. This month set sort of a personal record since working in KL. Won't be in town for 3 weekends in a month. Next weekend will be back in Segamat again for Kek Gian's wedding.

Bump into someone during lunch which made my otherwise mundane day :D

I'm Back from the High Seas

Back from the Etiqa Treasure Hunt. Took us 3 and a half hours to hunt from Dataran Maybank - Putrajaya - P.D. We did reasonably well. No. 9 amongst 24 teams. Got ourselves 100 bucks Parkson Voucher each. The organizers shared some interesting answers from the contestants.

Clue: No weapons here. All are covered and concealed.
Answer: Gan (Gun) Kain dan Langsir

Some smart ass answered "Balai Polis Lukut"...the whole floor went LMAO.....

Didn't went well with the best dressed competition during the dinner. My 90 bucks pirate costume lost to some dude who wrapped himself up like a Taliban terrorist with a RM9 sarung.

Some teaser pics...will upload more when ready into Facebook...

Team BIB

Damn..i look stupid in the costume...

On a different note there was no place for me to watch our opening match. Only caught like the first 20 minutes of it and we were playing shite. Plessis was a mess in marscherano's role. Thank god we have Nando and thanks to Pei Ru for the update eventhough i was already half asleep... LOL...

Treasure Hunt...ahoy matey...

Etiqa treasure hunt tomorrow...from Dataran Maybank to Admiral Cove P.D. JLT conducted the training there last year. Isn't a bad place. Just hope that I have means to see the opening match live.

After the Treasure Hunt there is a "Pirates Nite" bbq dinner. Rented my costume from the outlet at City Square...paying 90 quids to make myself look silly......

This Time, Song from August Rush

One of the nicest songs from a movie....

Tonight the sky above
Reminds me of you, love
Walking through wintertime
Where the stars all shine
The angel on the stairs
Will tell you I was there
Under the front porch light
On a mystery night

(Chorus)
I've been sitting watching life pass from the sidelines

Been waiting for a dream to seep in through my blinds
I wondered what might happen if I left this all behind
Would the wind be at my back ? Could I get you off my mind
This time

The neon lights in bars
And headlights from the cars
Have started a symphony
Surrounding Me
The things I left behind
Have melted in my mind
And now there's a purity
Inside of me

(Chorus 2X)

I Love My Country

What do you do to your political nemesis? In Singapore, the ruling party sue the opposition for slander until they bankrupt kau kau. In Malaysia, you accuse them of buggering some poor campaign worker of the same sex. Then you arrest them and charge them with "anal intercourse against the order of nature" in court when they start to run for office. Then "afraid" that the opposition supporters will start a demonstration that might "destabalize public order", you get the Polis Raja-di Malaysia to turn 4 lane highways into one lane pedestrian walkways. After that you pin it against the opposition for creating the mother of all jams, that even Bangkok would be proud of.

How can you not love Malaysia...especially in this month of August. Selamat Tahun Meliwat Malaysia 2008!!!!!!

Study in Taiwan

Well, the reason May and I can't go to MTV Asia Awards is due to the fact that my dad organize a talk to go study in Taiwan. This programme is for those students who can't really do well in school and they can go for these vocational training in Taiwan. They just need to finish Form 5 and know chinese, irregardless of results. Best thing is that its free. For 2 years vocational training, study for free in Taiwan. Only need to pay for lodging and misc. fees. Tuition is bloody F.O.C.

The talk was quite a success....the hall was packed to the brim and it seems that many people wsere actually quite interested. There were tons of questions from the attendees.

Clicker....lmao

Btw, i am still stuck in Segamat as my car broke down...can't go into gear suddenly.....

Malaysia vs Chelshit

Ever went through an experience that makes you appreciate something that you have? I wrote sometime last month that after attending a Methodist Wedding, I was very grateful that i am a Catholic. Well, I had the same experience today.

Melvin got hold of 2 VIP tickets to watch the Chelshit match at Stadium Shah Alam today. He can't go hence he asked me whether I want them. Well, what the hack..since its free. Maybe i can check out what Fat Phil is all about. Or even check out how Deco fits into the team. After all, Chelshit will definitely be a major adversary of Liverpool this coming season. Go do some scouting for fellow scousers. And I invited Ru along.

You know how we Scousers gave 'em Blue Noses a lot of grief over their plastic flags during the CL semi finals last season. We weren't expecting much "passion" from the Chelshit fans but guess what....it was 8.15pm and we stuck at this jam aroound 1 km from the Stadium. I took a look around and there were many many cars loaded with Chelshit shirts. Come on, this is your team in town. If it was a Liverpool match, we scousers would have painted the whole stadium red right from afternoon and not get stuck in the jam in the last minute. Hack, we might even paint the green Giant Hypermarket (adjacent to the stadium) into red!!!

That doesn't even take the cake....we got ourselves into the stadium just in time for kick off.....I wasn't surprise when the stadium was only 3 quarter full...and the VIP section...Malaysian shirts were outnumbering chelshit shirts....not surprising since a lot of blue noses only become "fans" after a certain russkie billionaire took over. Banners, you asked? or rather plastic flags? Don't say about plastic flags, there were only 2 miserable banners visible throughout the whole stadium. One reads "CFC GO TO KL". Dude! Get ur grammer and vocab correct ok?It's "CFC COMES TO KL". You are in KL, u Bluenose Ah Beng. Damn it, man. If Liverpool were to visit Stadium Shah Alam, I would be the first one (together with my-Rawk members) transforming the stadium into an Asian Anfield. I am not sure whether Chelshit have any club songs, but throughout the duration of the match...there were only "ooh's" and "ah's". Not even one single music note.....tsk,tsk...kesian. The only "passion" from 'em bluenoses are 3 mexican waves.

Well, you can't actually blame the chelshit fans for being passionless. I mean you look at their players. How many can truely say that they love the club. They are all damn bloody mercenaries. To be fair you might say that John Terry is all for Chelsea but look at the others. Sometimes, more often than not, attitude of players rub on to the fans. Which is exactly why Chelshit had 1,000 or something unsold CL Final tickets. That to me, is a disgrace.

Glad that I am red, through and true. Results from this scouting mission on next post. And i have to say it looks good for Liverpool if my observations are correct. Btw, Cleshit won 2-0, which is not too bad for Malaysia. Well, that's for another story.

Cameras and Batman

Location: Sg Long
Weather: Humid
Mood: Not Bad :D

Quote of the Day:
Eventhough you are in the driver's seat, that doesn't mean you have to run others down - Randy Pausch, The Last Lecture

Went to MVM Gardens today to watch The Dark Knight with Ru (review previous post). Got that like around 12.50pm and it was damn bloody jammed. Guess everyone got their salaries already. The security made me went round and round and round. I wasmade to park at Premiere parking (don't ask how much it cost). It was already 1.45pm when i got out my car. Went down to GSC Signature (didn't even bother to check out GSC MVM) and got tickets for 3rd row from the front. Wasn't really an issue with Premiere class. Seats were quite comfy. After the getting the tickets went to Adidas shop and saw the away jersey. It looks more hideous in real life. Pathetic Adidas designers. May asked me to buy this book called The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. Ran through the forst 2 chapters at Long John Silvers while luching. Its not bad...quite inspiring.

There was this camera fair thingy at Center Courtby photo shangrila. Pentax K20D and 200D was on displayed. Fired of a few frames on the K20D. It was brilliant. Virtually noiseless at ISO 1600. I am going to blow my bonus on that. The sales girl was trying to sell the K200D to a Malay uncle. She wasn't really convincing so i helped her out a bit (seeing that she is quite cute..LMAO). Didn't closed the deal there but i think the Malay uncle will be coming back. I asked her about the price of K20D body only and she referred me to Shriro direct. LOL....the non promotional prices from Shangri La (promotion only for body + kit lens) must be killer. Quite a good deal for K200D dual kit lens though they are having but today last day :D

After movie we went to the Nyonya something at Gardens. Thinking of having my dinner while waiting for Ru's dad to pick her up and guess what, they were out of food...brilliant. Ended up lepaking in MPH again until her dad came.

Got home and updating this blog. Will try to out in some practise time later but my fingers are killing me......

Good Guy?! Bad Guy?!

Movie day with Ru today at MVM Gardens....

The Dark Knight is awesome. Period. The cast of Christian Bale, Heath Ledger (R.I.P.), Aaron Eckhart, Gary Oldman etc carried the plot and intensity of the movie effortlessly. Maggie Gyllenhaal gives a measure strength and character which Katie Holmes fails to deliver. Kate is just to bimbo to carry the role of Rachel Dawson. And Heath, i have to say, deserves at least a post humous Oscar nomination at least. The intensity of his acting is bloody scary.

Christopher Nolan is brilliant. Instead of the usual good guy kicks the bad guy's ass to kingdom come, Nolan makes us ponder on the human nature on the very basic form. Instead of of being the ususal super hero in thights, our Batman is fighting his inner conscience whether he is what Gotham city needs. This problem is compunded when the Joker uses this weakness and started to make the people of Gotham turning against Batman. Tired of all this, Bruce decides to leave the hero job to new DA, Harvey Dent (who we all know is Two Face). Behind the scenes, the genius/lunatic Joker schemed and planned the master of all deception bringing down (figuritavely speaking) Batman, Commisioner Gordon and Dent. In the end, it is quite clear that the Joker won even though he was defeated.

To kill or be killed? I frankly do not know my answer when faced with the "Ferry Dilemma". If you are only to watch one movie this year, this is the one.

Guitar :D

Location: Sg Long
Weather: Rainy
Mood: Lonely

OK. The cats out of the bag. I signed up for guitar lessons. Yes, me. The self proclaimed tone deaf going for guitar lessons. LMAO. Started first lesson last Saturday. It was quite fun. Started of with E note plucking...nothing spectacular, teacher trying to get my right hand warmed up? Been practicing these few days...even tried to do C note and my left hand fingers hurts like mad :D

My Guitar...don't be fooled..its not a Morrison...i not that rich...its a Fanndec..only the bag is Morrison :D
I know this song is old, but sort of loving it...dunno y :D

新不了情
Singer:

MTV Asia Awards

Location: Sg Long
Weather: Humid
Mood: Dunno how to describe

Forgot to mention that I will be going to MTV Asia Awards at Genting on the 2/8/2008. May won 2 tix at the roadshow at the the MTV Roadshow at Cineleisure yesterday. The scenes were incredible. Bunch of teenagers screaming "me me me!!!!" trying to get the VJ's attention during contest time. Have give it up to May's luck. We weren't even standing upfront. VJ picked one from the the rows at the back, and she got picked. I might have outgrown this MTV stuff but i don't mind go see Karen Mok hosting the show :D

Some dudes were using desperate measures......dude, why not throw the bottle upstage...LMAO

VJ was quite hot...but she's not Denise :p

Ancient Chinese Gayness

Went to watch Red Cliff yesterday. In a way, it is a good movie as the John Woo did manage to portray the historical characters quite accurately. 刘备 as the charasmatic and caring leader (Pak Lah shoud read more 三国演义), 诸葛亮 as the calculating and cunning military tactician (reminds me of Rafa though). Battle scenes were true to historical accounts. However, i think 关羽 is too fit, he supposed to be damn huge one....LMAO....

On another note, the gayness between 周瑜 and 诸葛亮 is absolutely gayness. "他的琴声告诉我,此战他非他不可。“ after a "jamming" session? What? Speaking without words? and what's with the glances and smirking between them.....John Woo must had been hanging out with Ang Lee too much. Gayness i tell you.....Gayest of all Gayness...."你在想着些什么?“ Damn. This kind of conversation between a theatre commander and a military strategist....

By the way, Terrenganu State Government just took delivery of 14 Mercedes-Benz E200 Kompressor for State Exco Members and the like. Wonder what the Terengganu ppl thinks......

Anwar vs Shabery

Watched the debate over the fuel price hike between PKR and PR defacto leader Dato Seri Anwar and Dato Shabery (Menteri Penerangan). Confirms the fact that BN had learnt nothing from the last election results. Still trying to run a country by misinformation.

For those who expected a Santos vs Vinick debate, you will be disappointed. Anwar vs Shabery is like Liverpool FC vs Selangor. I already knew what was coming when Shabery commented that we should follow the example of Norway, Sweden where there isn't any fuel subsidy. Anwar's reply," Pendapatan Per-kapita Norway, 10 kali ganda pendapatan per-kapita di Malaysia." Home run, baby. Home run.

Anwar tried to play fair and tried to make this a good debate but the other joker started diversionary tactics and personal attacks (kept on trying to implicate Anwar's role in the 1974 demonstrations). The Shabery's lacky even tried to convince people that IPPs and Oil Price issue is not related. Come on, UMNO....u think the rakyat is damn stupid or you all are too stupid to realize that we are not stupid. Looking at Francis Yeoh enjoying life off the Rakyat's money really make me want to puke.

Quote of the Day: "Kerajaan kata harga minyak naik, inflasi turun. Saya mau tahu, pakar ekonomi yang mana satu ajar!!!"

Pak Lah is getting Senile....

Came home and saw the night edition of Sin Chew screaming..."Pak Lah: Opposition Causing Massive Jam". Looks like our frens in BN haven't learn any damn thing at all from the last. They still think that the rakyat are 3 year old kids that will believe everything that come out of our PM's mouth. Firstly what do these road blocks achieve? Preventing illegal assemblies? Fuck off....Pak Lah is just trying to inconvenience the public in order to make us blame PR for this jam. To think that Pak Lah is all for the rakyat. His actions lately really make me want to puke. He is a bigger hypocrite compared to Dr M. Keep it up old man...more and more of your rakyat will despise you.

Transfer Saga

Out: Riise, Crouchie
In: Degen, Dossena, Cavalieri (?)

The summer transfer so far doesn't bide good reading for us Scousers.

After 3 years with us Crouchie had decided to return to Fratton Park. Although it is sad to see him go, I think he is at the stage of his career whereby he need to get more first team football, not the least for his England ambitions. I think it is a win-win situation for all as Rafa cannot guarantee first team football for the big guy. We let him go and we get 11 million quids more to play with. Now the big question ......how do we play with the extra 11 milllion quids?

Rafa said David Villa is an option. Valencia's 32 million pounds valuation is just absurd. But like i said earlier if Rafa and Nando do some Mojo on him and Pepe go a little loco on him...u nvr know. Nando and Villa week in week out. Dream for kopites, nightmare for premie defenders :D

Rafa admitted that there is contact with Robbie Keane. I don't really fancy that. There's always a possibility that partnership will not work. Looking at the style of play of Nando and Keane, don;t think that they will compliment each other. Both of them like to make early runs. think that they are to similar.

Rafa did ask us to trust him in the transfer market. Who are we to disagree? Look at Skrtel, Babel, Benayoun, Luis Garcia, Nando. For the reserves Pacheco, Nemeth, San Jose. Admittedly there are a few duds like Mark Gonzalez, Pellegrino....We will just have to wait and see... Rafa promised 1 or 2 new strikers for the new season. Hopefully it won't turn out like Andriy "where's the ball?" Voronin.

I will say it again...screw Barry and move on...we have bigger fishes to fry....

Pepe "El Loco" Reina, Very Loco O'neill and Brilliant Dani Pacheco

After the Euphoria of Espana's victory and pretty crazy celebration by the Spanish lads, especially Pepe 'El Loco" Reina (go read May's blog if you wanna know what i meant). Here's one pf Pepe going nuts in the Avion (Airplane)

Time to calm down and ponder on what is in store for the red half of Merseyside this coming seaSONH.

Firstly, O'Neill is trying to outdo Pepe on the count of Loco-ness. He says that he has accepted the fact that Barry is leaving but he is not leaving without the right price. The right price is supposedly 20 million quids. He must be nuts. That price for someone who is his late twenties. To put it into perspective, that's around the price Rafa paid for Nando. Can someone show him the middle finger? I say that we turn our back on the deal and leave O'Neill with a very pissed captain who won't be playing for Aston Villa next seaSONH and he might just leave for free when the time comes. Better news that I had heard is that Rafa will be spending the Crouchy dough on David (its pronounced as Da-Bid) Silva. Think this is a rumour but still.....

Red from T.I.A. about one Dani Pacheco. This lad caught my eyes when I watch the highlights of the Reserves final a few months back. Hack, the whole reserve team was damn brilliant. But according to experts out there, this Pacheco is special. We kopped him from Barca and they were powerless due to some f- up labour law in Espana. This is why he is special (ignore the corny background music though)

Vamos Espana!!!!

I am damn tired. Slept for a little over 2 hours yesterday. Worth it though. Watch Spain create history by beating 'em Jerries to win their 2nd European Cup after 40 odd years. The hero, u guessed it, Fernando Torres. He muscled off Philip Lahm on the 33 minute and chipped in the only goal of the match.

The Jerries never really showed up. I have to say this again....Mario Gomez is absolutely shite, dunno what all the hype surrounding him is about. Spain literally ran circles around the Jerries. Only fault, if one have to look for, is that Spain was playing a bit like Arsenal. Trying to be too cute. Sometimes, just smack the ball and be done with it instead of trying to run the ball over the goal line.

Banging my head a few times against the wall today. I don't normally by Magnum 4D unless my car got crashed or something. That's what happened on last Tuesday so bought 8131, 2 big 2 small (forward and "gostan") on Saturday. Then threw in my dad's car number 3181, 1 big 1 small. Ok, fine. Din strike. Then Sunday 6pm something had the urge to go buy again. But it was raining hippos (quoting peiru) so nvr mind. This morning, Godma called and asked got strike 3181 third prize or not. I almost crashed my car into another road divider.......damn.......RM1,500 gone...

Impressive but Still....

About the thing I didn't really wanted to do yesterday, it was a wedding that my dad asked me to attend at Damansara Utama Methodist Church. It is the wedding of my dad's friend punya son. We went to their house in Kerteh about 15 years ago and i think that's was the only time I saw this guy. Maybe they did came over on some CNY but I really can't recall. I don't really want to go mainly because i know i will be bored shitless as i knew no one there...and i will be going alone. Moreover, for those who are in the know, there are certain things that Catholics and Methodist don't really see eye to eye (to put it lightly). Thus, deepening my reluctance to attend.

But then, what the hack...woke up this morning and decided to attend. I sort of knew where it is as it used to be the old Singer building. DUMC is so rich that they bought over the Singer warehouse and convert it into their church. When i reached there...i almost "buang"...the name of the church is 'Dream Centre"....what a name for a church...anyways, pared my car and made my way to the auditorium. Wow!! Was i impressed....this is not a church, this is a concert hall....there are 3 huge ass, live football matches kind of cameras covering the event..i think the whole auditorium with its AV equipment easily cost 10 million quids....really....(well, its not hard seeing that it is copulsary for Methodist to pay 10% of their household income to the church, called tidings or something..and u imagine Damansara Utama area....)

To cut the story short, I was quite glad that i decided to go for the wedding. Maybe it's God's urging...it makes me so glad that i am a Catholic. Thier hardware might be impressive but the software (Holy Spirit) is just not there. I do not have the same kind of feeling when the Pastors pray compared to what I feel when Priests prays...their's sound so much like a gimmick, so politician if you would allow. I just can't feel the Holy Spirit in it....or in the prayers. Its like the prayers doesn't connect to the Lord...not like how it feels or the vibes when Father William or Father George prays...

This wedding, going through the Methodist version of Christ worship...had further affirmed my faith...that I have to thank my dad and the bridegroom for that.....

Final - Espana vs Deutschland

Xavi, Guitar and Silva. Their goals put Spain through to the the finals of Euro 2008. Russia, with all the hype surrounding Hiddink and Arshavin, were simply outplayed by Spain. Or more appropriately, Arshavin didn't show up. He was anonymous throughout the game. Don't think he got more than 10 touches of the ball.

The injury to Villa might seemed to be a blessing in disguise. When Fabregas got on in place of Villa, he brought along much needed pace and intelligence in Spain's play. He had a hand in the last 2 goals. Nando wasn't his usual self yesterday. Any other day in Liverpool shirt he would have bagged himself 2 hattricks. Maybe its the storm....hmmm....

Good news for Sapnish defense. Puyol was at his usual best. An epitome of modern sweeper. After being slated during the the group stages, Sergio Ramos is getting better and better. He is part of the reason why Arshavin didn't got a sniff of the goal.

Anyhow, being forced to do something that I don't really want to do tomorrow. Have yet to decide whether to go ahead. Keep u guys posted tomorrow.....

Crash!!!!

This morning, as usual, I was driving to work. Noticed a big ass spider enjoying himself running around the front passenger seat. Grab newspaper and tried to whack it. The bastard damn agile, hit it a few times still cannot kena.

When I was trying to compensate for the asshole's movement to deliver a one final blow....CRASH!!!!....I inadvertently swerved a bit to the left and crashed into the road divider. Damn...a quarter if my next months salary gone....

Luckily I wasn't driving that fast. But the damage was quite substantial too. Might cost me more than 500 bucks to repair it.

Lesson of the Day: Keep a can of Shieldtox in your car.

Viva Espana!!!!

Yesterday's semi final gives more wight to my hypothesis: Italians are damn good actors and they most probably are gay. Come on, you've got to be shittin'....Silva fouled by Toni. Like Ru said its like dwarf winning a wrestling match against a giant.

Anyways, Espana got their just result from the penalty shoot out. Only the combination of bad luck, poor finishing, good defending (you've got to give that to the gay boys) and some very very bizarre (to say the least) substitution by Aragones that prevented Spain from romping home 3-0 winners. Spain did all the running and passing. Silva in particular ran rings around the Italian defense. The Italian were at their usual best of defending en masse deep in their half and trying to curi ayam via Toni via crosses from Grosso.

And again, Nando was subbed off. This time replaced by the stupid idiotic Guiza(Guitar, Geesa, Geezer, watever your name is). He can't run, he can't shoot, he can't hold up play. He is wasting the food supply of the Spanish camp. Really amazes me why the old hag subbed Nando with a Guitar. Nando with had made a fool out of the old hag named Panucci at the closing stages. Maybe spare me more sleep time.

I don't know why am I bitching eventhough Spain did went through to the semis. Maybe it is because I am damn freakin' worried about what Guus will do to us if Aragones continues his senile streak.

Oh yeah, I am quite sure I saw Pepe speaking to Casillas before the penalty shoot out :D

Oranje Peeled???

I picked up a copy of The Sun's Euro Supplementary just now and you really have to give it to the sports editor. The headline screamed "ORANJE PEELED"...I was like LMAO. Peeled....literally.

Netherlands were largely outplayed by a very lively and dynamic Russian side. Maybe the dutch did too much running during the Group stages. They can't seem to cope with the pace of the Russians. Arshavin, in particular, single handedly destroyed the Dutch. Palywtfchenko could had ended the tie way before Van Horseface equalized...but as I said in my earlier post, its alright to have an aeroplane guy upfront if you have Arshavin, Zirkiv and Zyranov as your attacking midfield.

If Spain go pass the gay boys, they really really have thread carefully in the semis. But, then...one thing at a time. Like Alberto said, Spain will never go past the q-finals. And that is a verdict of Spanish dude living in Salamanca. Looks like the Esponyols ain't expecting too much....

Randomness...

Russia was a different force with Ashavin back in the side. The midfield trio of Zirkov, Zurianov and Ashavin wis so damn good it doesn't matter if you have an aeroplane shooter like Palyvchenko upfront. Kuyt and Co must not take the Russkies too lightly.

Got back from RCIA a moment ago and there wasn't that much enquirers as hoped for. Father say he wants 50. Still remember his comments last Saturday,"For a parish of 5000, we have only 19 baptism last Easter. No one joined the Seminary or Convent last year. You know what Kajang has most? Marriage!!! Everyone want to get married." ^_^"'

The Villa Show

After the hattrick against the Russkies, Villa whacked in a last minute injury goal goal to send Spain into the Quarter Finals. All round, Spain is good value for money for the win. Only thing that worries me is the defense. After Puyol was substituted, the whole back line was in disarray. It is so obvious that Puyol is a one man defense of Spain. Raul "whatever his last name is" was shite. So is Segio Ramos. He was at fault for Zlatan's goal. Hopefully Puyol's injury is nothing serious.

Weeheee!!! And Torres is off the mark for Euro 2008. If I were Rafa i would be cracking my calculator to bring Villa to Anfield. Torres and Villa is a match made in heaven.

Redefining the Phrase "Fill Her Up"

Prices of commodity globally had been on rise recently. Crude oil prices had been hovering around the USD150 per barrel over the pass few months and it is obvious that the government cannot sustain the current fuel subsidy. The rakyat were bracing themselves for a fuel prices increase. It came today via Pak Tidur's announcement. An increase of 78sens to RM2.70 per litter. Increase of 40%!!!!!

My god...where did this come from??? With the prices of food also at a rise, we junior execs really can bite the dust already. Siao one...well they give a rebate of RM625 per year for car below 2000cc but it doesn't take a mathematical genius to figure out that amount is peanuts compared to the extra cost we need to fork out annually.

No, Pak Lah. I don't buy your "
Kerajaan komited untuk memastikan golongan berpendapatan rendah dan sederhana tidak akan dibebani dengan kenaikan kos petrol dan makanan."

You have my vote of "No Confidence".

Edit: Najib says change your life-style. Fuck you, mate. Do we need the bloody Sukhoi-31s and the Scorpene Submarines?? Stop sending your daughter to Sri Garden and that is changing life-style. Walk the talk, mate. Asshole.

7 States in 2 Days - Day 1

School holiday...Dad planned to go state hopping with Big Aunt and Uncle from Singapore. Uncle Long decided to join in the fun. So ten of us decided to bundle into an Avanza and a Jazz and took off from Segamat.

Passing by Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, our first stop was Jenjarum. They wanted to visit the Dong Zan Si...some huge Buddhist Monastery. Before that, going to the temple, we tried to look for a coffee shop. Instead, ended up in a Dim Sum shop.

The Dim Sum ain't half bad at all...and not as expensive in KL. After that, the main event which was just 300 meters away. Nothing spectacular though...maybe its because it is dead in the afternoon and we were not really in the mood to explore it under the hot sun.

Next stop was Kuala Selangor for the fame seafood. From Jenjarum to Kuala Selangor was a 1 and a half hour drive along Route 70. We hopped into Jeti Seafood Restaurant. The food wasn't that great. I think it's becoz of the crowd. The whole place was crawling with day trip tourist.

Damn thirsty so ordered a big arse coconut.

This is some sort of sea shells called 刺螺...the name obviously come from the spikes. To eat it you have to use a long tooth pick to dig out the flesh.

The buggers in the kitchen overcooked the clams...a waste really. It was supposed to be damn good if it is soft and juicy...

While waiting for the other dishes, we had an unexpected sideshow...there was a procession of deities of the local temple. I have seen procession on land, but this is the first time I had seen one on water.

The other dishes arrived when I was busy shooting and my clan had already started to dig in. Hence no food photo of the other dishes. Basically we ordered a fish head curry (not bad), fried oyster omelette(too soggy), mabuk prawn (not fresh) and a vege. After lunch walked around the village of Pasir Penambang (the fishing village where we had our lunch).

Obviously this place is quite famous for the prawn crackers. We bought a few (not from this shop) but it was laden with MSG. Got it from the wrong outlet it seems.

No complaints with this Heong Peng though. It was fresh from the oven and the filling is still liquidy on the next day.

Salted Fish

Fish Balls

Throw in a fishing boat for good measures. Next stop Ipoh...but before that, paid a visit to the Leaning Tower of Anson. It is leaning due to poor workmanship...LOL

Arrive at Ipoh at around 8pm. After check in at Excelsior Hotel went looking for food. Found the famous Cowan Street Chucken, Tauge Hor Fun shop just across the road. It was a Sunday but still filled with local diners. Took us 10 minutes to wait for a table. Worth the wait as the food is as good as it reputation.

Chicken Spare Parts....LOL

Big fat Juicy Tauge....

Chicken Feet...after eat will get happy feet...LOL

After that we got back to the hotel and hit the sack. The next day's journey was an impromptu decision by all...to be continued... :D
